Author and playwrite Ginny Davis will be amusing you with a monologue performance of her work Double Booked. After the performance Ginny will talk about her life as a writer and performer, followed by a Question and Answer session. Ginny is an award winning writer and performer whose funny, poignant and anecdotal plays highlight the joys, perils and comedy of modern family life. Ginny’s plays have sold out and gained five star reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe and in venues throughout the UK. She performed in Wargrave in 2011 and was a huge hit amongst the empathetic mothers who could more than relate to her stories of family life. In
Double Booked the character Ruth Rich has hit the menopause or ‘sandwich years’, has a mildly demented mother, wayward teenagers and the eldest child Laura at uni. Colin Firth has disappeared from her dreams.
